Two sold-out shows by Ye, the rapper also known as Kanye West, set down for a stadium in Russia have been canceled by the intended hosts.

Two planned concerts are thrown into doubt, but Russian promoters insist they will go ahead.

Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg said that two October concerts would not take place there, citing a lack of rental agreements.
