Russian publishers reportedly cut print runs after Ukrainian strikes on Wildberries warehouses, where their books are stored

Some Russian publishers have stopped printing new titles and are cutting print runs following Ukrainian drone strikes on Wildberries warehouses, two sources at major retail chains told the Russian business daily Kommersant.

The country risks ‘the collapse of the entire book ecosystem’ following destruction of warehouses in July and August, say Ukrainian publishers The Ukrainian Book Institute has called on the international publishing community to support Ukrainian publishers after Russian attacks in July and early August destroyed about
