Russian drones kill two police officers, injure 20 in Zhytomyr headquarters strike

Russian military forces struck the regional headquarters of Ukraine’s National Police in Zhytomyr with “Banderol” drones, sparking a fire in the building.

A Russian “Banderol”-type drone struck Zhytomyr’s regional police headquarters on Wednesday, Aug. 19, killing two officers and injuring at least 20 people. National Police chief Maksym Tsutskiridze called the strike deliberate terror against those who protect civilians.
