Two major export terminals handling millions of tons of grain were damaged in Ukrainian strikes on the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.

Ukraine has launched a heavy drone assault on warships and major Russian grain export terminals in the Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk.

A futures broker said, “If the fighting persists in the Black Sea with the logistical problems, then it will be pretty bullish for wheat.”

A "massive" Ukrainian drone and missile strike on Russia's port city of Novorossiysk has damaged grain export terminals and hit the last major Russian naval base on the Black Sea.

Grain exports from both Russia and Ukraine are falling as both countries attack each other's shipping facilities and ports.

Russian authorities declared an emergency after the attack ruptured two water pipelines, sparked fires and disrupted port operations. Ukraine reported hitting air defenses, naval piers and infrastructure at the Novorossiysk base.
