Russia sends warship armed with hypersonic missiles towards NATO island after threat to UK

A heavily armed warship has been sent to a NATO country's doorstep after Russian President Vladimir Putin said last week that he was ready to retaliate against British and EU ships that tried to seize Russia-linked vessels

The Admiral Kasatonov - a frigate fitted with nuclear-capable Zircon hypersonic missiles - was spotted close to Fehmarn, a small tourist island in the Baltic Sea off the northeast coast of Germany.
