Russia recruits young women from Latin America to assemble drones in Tatarstan

Russia's Alabuga Start program offers training and jobs to Latin American women under the pretense of employment in the hospitality or logistics sectors, only to ultimately hire them to assemble drones used against Ukraine.

Drone attacks reportedly hit Wildberries facilities in Volgograd and Tatarstan, extending Ukraine’s campaign against logistics hubs accused of supporting Russia’s military supply system.

Valery Kustov, chairman of the board and principal shareholder of the Efko group of companies, a Russian vegetable oils and fats producer, was detained in Moscow on suspicion of large-scale fraud, sources told the business news outlet RBC.
