Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in all eight of the Harry Potter films, will reprise the role on Broadway this winter, following in the footsteps of the movies’ Draco Malfoy and current Harry Potter and the Cursed Child star Tom Felton. Like Felton, Grint will portray the grown-up version of the role he originated

Grint will play the adult version of Ron Weasley, a role which he originated in the film franchise.

The British actor, who played Ron Weasley in all eight films, will play the same character, this time as an adult, in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”
