Rubio and Bessent remained on decoy plane after Trump’s secret exit

There’s been outrage after it was revealed that President Trump swapped planes when flying back to the US from Turkey last month, using the plane he disembarked, and everybody on it, as a decoy, following security threats from Iran.

Trump boarded a different plane in Turkey during a Nato summit for security reasons involving Iran.

Two members of US President Donald Trump's cabinet were on a decoy plane that Trump secretly exited before boarding a different flight in Turkey last month, CBS News reports.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent were on the decoy flight last month when President Trump secretly switched to a different plane while Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was with Mr. Trump.

Some of President Trump’s top officials traveled on the original Air Force One, which the president secretly disembarked.
