Restaurant Explosion in Central Moscow Kills 3, Injures 15, Police Say

The Baza online news outlet said the explosion had occurred at an upscale Italian restaurant.

Among the victims of the explosion, which also injured 21 people, were a security guard and a woman who the authorities say had arrived with the suspicious package.

The woman attempted to bring the device into the restaurant but was refused entry before it exploded, state media reported.
