The new Range Rover Electric has arrived, bringing with it a 372-mile range and a promise of the same off-road capability as the combustion-engined version.Priced from £154,070, the new Range Rover Electric uses a large 118.5kWh battery linked to twin electric motors for a combined output of 542bhp and 850Nm of torque.

While it looks almost indistinguishable from the combustion-engined Range Rover, it is underpinned by industry-leading battery technology and two powerful electric motors.

Around 9,000 employees in Solihull have been upskilled for the manufacture of the vehicle

The vehicle is being built at JLR's manufacturing plant in Solihull, in the West Midlands.
