Pro-Trump British far-right commentator deported by US immigration officials

British far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported back to the UK after being detained by US immigration officials, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed.

Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported back to the United Kingdom after overstaying his visa.

The deportation on Friday came a day after Yiannopoulos, 41, was arrested at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Milo Yiannopoulos, who is British, was accused of overstaying his visa after entering the country legally in May 2019.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said Yiannopoulos was returned to his home country on Friday after being accused of overstaying after entering the U.S. legally in May 2019.
