Portugal expands E-Gate access for foreign residents at airports

Foreign nationals legally residing in Portugal can now use automated passport control gates when arriving at and departing from the country’s airports, helping eligible travellers avoid lengthy immigration queues during the busy summer season.

More than 260 residents of Awudua and surrounding communities in the Western Region have gained renewed access to healthcare after registering, renewing or replacing their National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards during a free medical outreach organised by the Gold Fields Ghana Foundation.
