Poland protests to Russian ambassador over missile incursion

Poland summoned Russia’s ambassador after a Kh-101 cruise missile struck its territory during Russia’s overnight barrage that fired roughly 20 missiles towards Ukraine. Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the diplomatic step on Friday, July 31.

"We demand an end to actions that endanger the lives and safety of citizens," said Poland's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Maciej Wewior, after a Russian Kh-101 missile landed on Polish territory.
