Two people were aboard the PSP aircraft when it collided with a Cessna 150 around 6:50 p.m., a Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson said in a statement.

A pilot was killed and two Pennsylvania State Police troopers were injured after a Bell 407 helicopter and a Cessna 150 collided near Carlisle Regional Airport.

The two troopers who were on board the helicopter escaped with minor injuries.
