Sussex Police are investigating after a teenage girl was allegedly sexually touched over her clothing in the water at Brighton beach.

Police say the two young victims were hanging out with a larger group of girls for about an hour before the group reportedly turned on the pair.

The girls were reportedly hospitalised after the attack near Hurstmere Road.
