Phillies' Aaron Nola hopes to not miss time following injury scare

Despite getting drilled by a line driver on Saturday night, Phillies ace Aaron Nola is hoping to suit up in his next start.

Nola and Max Scherzer both hit strikeout milestones Saturday night, but the Phillies pitcher left the game in the sixth inning after a comebacker hit his right knee.

Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola was hit by a line drive and exited Saturday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays in the sixth inning due to a right knee contusion. X-rays were negative.

The milestone is a highlight in what has been a difficult season for Nola.
