Pfizer beats quarterly profit estimates on strong demand for blood thinner Eliquis

Pfizer Tuesday slightly raised the lower end of its full-year revenue forecast after beating Wall Street estimates for second-quarter profit, driven by strong demand for blood thinner Eliquis.

Pfizer said it cut its full-year revenue expectation for its Covid products to $4 billion, down from around $5 billion previously.

Net income climbed 48% from a year earlier to ¥809.4 billion in the three months ended June 30, exceeding analysts' ¥633.4 billion average estimate.
