Palestinians mourn ‘Camel of Hardship’ artist Sliman Mansour

Palestinians have mourned prominent artist Sliman Mansour at a public funeral in the occupied West Bank.

An overflow crowd of Palestinians on Wednesday laid to rest visionary artist Sliman Mansour, whose landmark painting “Camel of Hardships” has become an emblem of Palestinian identity.

The 79-year-old was best known for paintings depicting the Palestinian landscape and cultural scenes featuring Palestinian symbols of identity.
