Outrage greets EFCC’s freezing of Osun govt’s account

AHEAD of the governorship election in Osun State, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has allegedly frozen the account of the state government domiciled with a first generation bank.

The EFCC said it has interrogated the state officials over an ongoing investigations into the handling of N11 billion.

The EFCC explains why it froze Osun State Government accounts, citing suspicious fund movements to prevent alleged diversion of public funds.
