Osun poll: Garba Shehu hails Amupitan’s humility, INEC’s transparency

Garba Shehu praises INEC’s transparency and Chairman Amupitan’s humility following the Osun election, despite initial reservations about his appointment.

“The peaceful conduct before, during and after the election, in spite of some observed irregularities, is a testament to the maturity of our democracy and the commitment of citizens to peaceful coexistence,” Mr Otti said.

Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has commended the electorate in Osun State as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over what he described as the peaceful conduct of the just-concluded governorship election in the state.
