The shooting happened outside a rave in the northern Swiss town of Aarau. Police said they were still searching for the perpetrator.

Police began a manhunt after the shooting, which happened around 2.30am Swiss time - 1.30am in the UK - at the Aarauer Rave, north of Zurich.

Swiss media reported shots were fired at a rave overnight, with all the victims in their twenties.

"The search for the perpetrators, whose identities are currently unknown, is under way," Swiss police said.
