North East solar eclipse forecast as region awaits major astronomical event

Astronomers and other professionals from the Espinho Planetarium will be holding a free event on 12 August at Praia da Baía to help the public observe and understand the solar eclipse, which is expected to obscure 98% of the sun at that location.
