Nigerian author Jerry Falade loses $2m book deal over AI allegations

Nigerian author Jerry Falade has lost a reported $2 million publishing deal for his debut crime novel after concerns emerged over whether artificial intelligence (AI) was used in the writing or editing process.

Jerry Falade spoke out on Tuesday after his own reps pulled the plug on the sale of his first crime novel, "Call Me, I'll Hide the Body."
