Nigeria: NAF Air Interdiction Kills ISWAP Commander, Eight Other Extremists in Borno

[This Day] Abuja -- The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) yesterday revealed that the Air Component of the Joint Task Force North-East, Operation Hadin Kai, eliminated a key ISWAP commander and eight other extremist fighters during a coordinated air interdiction operation in Borno State.

The strikes, conducted on Saturday, Aug. 8, around the Yuwe and Sabil Huda enclaves in the Sambisa Forest, were described by intelligence sources as highly effective.
