Rescuers in Nepal and Tibet race to reach workers trapped in flooded tunnels after a disaster that killed nearly 800 and left 3,000 missing.

Most of the workers are trapped at four hydropower projects, with rescuers racing against time to reach those buried under debris in blocked tunnels

Nepal’s disaster management authority said the risk of further flooding would persist until both lakes have fully drained

Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority said some 2,426 people are still missing.
