Nepal resumes flood rescue, seeks technical help and aid

Rescuers in Nepal and China battled to find thousands missing after a deadly wall of water and debris swept through the Himalayas, engulfing entire villages.

The impoverished Himalayan nation of 30 million people called for specialist foreign assistance and its finance minister told Reuters it would need about $4 billion to $5 billion to rebuild.
