Mudryk Chelsea return will take time – Alonso

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso says he is "very happy" to be welcoming Mykhailo Mudryk back into his squad, but it is "too early" to understand what he can do.

Mykhailo Mudryk will be welcomed with open arms when he rejoins Chelsea this week in Hong Kong, manager Xabi Alonso said, but the Ukrainian will not be rushed back after winning his appeal against a doping ban.

The Ukrainian winger has not played for Chelsea since November 2024 but can now return to training and first-team selection.
