Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay is to undergo a minor heart procedure after the discovery of "a mild benign arrhythmia", Napoli have announced.

The Napoli midfielder requires a procedure on an irregular heartbeat

The midfielder was taken off during Napoli's defeat to Como in Serie A

The player will be available again after the international break

Napoli said: 'Following the onset of a mild benign arrhythmia, Scott McTominay will undergo corrective surgery using a cardiac arrhythmia ablation in the coming days.

The 29-year-old will miss Napoli’s next four matches, including next week's games against Inter and Arsenal.
