Massive fire rips through Wildberries warehouse in Russia following Ukrainian drone attack

Firefughters battled massive plumes of smoke and flames at a Wildberries warehouse outside of Moscow, Russia on Aug. 16. The fire sparked after Ukrainian drones struck the region overnight. Moscow region’s Governor Andrei Vorobyov said that an 83-year-old man was killed in these strikes.

Some 620 Ukrainian drones headed toward the Moscow region starting on the evening of August 17, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said, adding that 180 of them were shot down.
