Man in his 40s dies after getting into difficulty while swimming in sea off popular UK beach

A MAN in his 40s has died after getting into difficulty while swimming in the sea off a popular UK beach. Emergency services were called to Blackpool Sands in Devon at 3.30pm on Monday, following concerns about the swimmer's welfare. Coastguards recovered the man from the water but pronounced him dead at the scene. HM.
