Luigi Mangione has pleaded guilty to federal stalking charges in relation to the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Luigi Mangione entered a guilty plea in his federal case at a court appearance in Manhattan Friday morning.

When the judge asked Luigi Mangione whether he understood that he could spend the rest of his life in prison, he answered, "Yes".

The murder on a New York City street in 2024 made headlines around the world.
