Lebanon and Israel still split over disarming Hezbollah at Rome talks

Israel, Lebanon, and the US are discussing which countries will take over verifying that areas entered by the LAF are free from Hezbollah.

This week's negotiations are the seventh round of Washington-mediated talks since Hezbollah drew Lebanon into the Middle East war in March with rocket fire at Israel in support of its backer Iran.
