York pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges, disorderly conduct and possession of criminal tools, was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $1,150.

Kyle Shanahan says Jed York's arrest in an Ohio prostitution sting has no effect on the San Francisco 49ers as a team heading into the season.

Shanahan said he spoke with York on Monday and Tuesday, after the 49ers’ owner was arrested and pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors.

York, 46, was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio on Sunday and initially charged with one count in engaging in prostitution. That charge was amended to a disorderly conduct charge by the time he took to the stand on Monday morning.
