Kyiv Endures Unprecedented Five-Day Drone Blitz as Russia Alters Tactics

Kyiv has endured five days of relentless Russian drone attacks, with faster jet-powered UAVs, repeated air-raid alerts and deadly strikes disrupting the capital. A blast at an arms depot near Kyiv has killed 38, while two children were also among those killed in the wider barrage.

The strike, which took place late Friday, caused huge secondary explosions that engulfed an entire suburban area in plumes of smoke.

The strike, on a warehouse near Ukraine’s capital, came after days of attacks that strained air defenses and struck fear in civilians.
