In a status report filed late Tuesday, opponents of the move said members of the Kennedy Center's Trump-aligned board "seem intent" on defying an earlier court order requiring the president's name to be removed from the building.

The request from a Democratic lawmaker follows a decision by the Trump-allied board to add “Restored and Renovated by President Donald J. Trump” to the building.
