The academic was found dead a week after he quit his role as Cambridge University professor and Jesus College fellow after allegations he had plagiarised parts of his PhD thesis and embellished his life achievements.

Jason Arday, who frequently appeared in UK media, resigned as a professor of sociology of education at Cambridge earlier this month following the accusations.
