Japanese polka dot artist Kusama dies; LV museum features work

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, who splashed her signature polka dots on paintings, sculptures and museum installations around the world, has died, her studio said.

Yayoi Kusama's controversial 1960s performances to Infinity Mirror Rooms have built a global legacy.

The artist died earlier in August after a life "devoted entirely to artistic creation", her company said.
