Italia rail firm FS Italiane orders Hitachi trains for London-Paris service

According to the BMRCL, train services on the affected stretch will be halted from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. During the maintenance period, metro operations will continue as per the regular schedule on the Challaghatta-M.G. Road, Baiyappanahalli-Whitefield (Kadugodi), Madavara-Silk Institute, and R.V. Road-Bommasandra sections.

Services have been stopping for longer at stations to allow passengers to get off and use toilets on platforms.

General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway, Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, visited the affected sections and carried out a detailed inspection of the tracks, bridges and other infrastructure.
