Witnesses said Israeli warplanes fired at least 12 missiles near the Katiba area in the west of Gaza City, an area crowded with displaced families

"There are no casualties among our troops, and none of our troops are trapped. The IDF acted to bring an immediate threat to an end. The incident is nearing its conclusion," a military source said.
