CAIRO, Aug 19 - An Israeli airstrike killed nine Palestinians at a police station in Gaza on Wednesday, medics said, two days after U.S. envoy Jared Kushner ended a trip to the region that failed to push forward Donald Trump's plan to end the war in the enclave.

Gaza health officials have said an Israeli strike on the municipal police headquarters in Gaza City has killed nine people, with the Israeli military saying it targeted a Hamas commander in that strike and another further south.
