Israel's military has confirmed that it opened fire on a car carrying 5-year-old Hind Rajab, who was left trapped for hours, begging for help, her relatives lying dead around her, back in 2024 in the war in Gaza.

Hind Rajab and her family, trapped in a vehicle and pleading for help by phone, were killed in February 2024. Their deaths drew international outcry.
