An investigation has been launched into Professor Jason Arday's 'unnatural death' at his home in south London, an inquest heard.

The opening of the inquest comes a day before the UK release of his memoir, and weeks after the Cambridge University professor's sudden death after an intense media frenzy.

Professor Jason Arday was found unresponsive by family members, an inquest has heard.

Dr Julian Morris Morris said he had "reason to suspect that Professor Arday died an unnatural death".
