Northern Command confirms that Hezbollah is active in the area and is attempting to challenge the IDF, so it cannot be ruled out that it tampered with an explosive device to target IDF in the area.

Israeli army escalates strikes in south Lebanon, at least four wounded The Israeli army escalated its attacks on southern Lebanon, with state-media noting a "wide-scale aggression" in Tyre.  As a result of the strikes across several areas in the city, four people were wounded and transferred to nearby hospitals.
