BOGOTA, Colombia, Aug 15 - Hopes of finding survivors of the earthquake that struck western Colombia five days ago were dwindling on Saturday, as more bodies were pulled from buildings that collapsed due to the 7.4-magnitude quake that left hundreds dead or missing.

The crucial 72-hour window to find survivors has passed, but rescue teams in Colombia keep digging.

Rescuers in Colombia made a last-ditch effort to locate earthquake survivors early Thursday, as the critical 72-hour window for finding people alive drew to a close. Our journalist Rosa Perez gives us the lastest information.

According to information shared by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Mumbai Fire Brigade, the incident happened at 3:48 am on Wednesday. The landslide occurred at Gaushiya Chawl in Ghatkopar's Chirag Nagar.

The death toll from Monday's quake continues to rise, as rescue teams race against time to find survivors under the rubble.

Dogs and drones were deployed to search for survivors. At least 220 people were reported dead in the nation’s strongest earthquake in a decade.
