Honda warns it may not build new North America plant without trade deal extension

In May, Honda abandoned its long-term electric vehicle sales targets, which included a goal to have EVs represent 20% of its new car sales by 2030

Honda Executive Vice President Noriya Kaihara said the Japanese automaker is close to full production capacity in North America and needs a new factory.
