Health businesses ordered to pay more than $147,000 in worker arrears

Two health businesses and their operators have agreed to pay more than $147,000 in arrears after failing to provide workers with minimum employment entitlements.

More than 1200 care workers in Auckland are in limbo, after Health NZ confirmed it was ending contracts with three non-profit providers.

Three non-profit providers say 4500 clients could be affected by the change.
