Hayden Panettiere’s mother takes swipe at star's boyfriend Brian Hickerson who 'was at scene of death'

The Heroes star died aged 36 from a suspected overdose at a south Carolina apartment

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Hayden Panettiere’s on-and-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach Hickerson were at the South Carolina apartment where the actor died over the weekend, according to a police report released Tuesday.

Hayden Panettiere's mother Lesley Vogel says Brian Hickerson was with the actress at her death, claiming the family tried to remove him from her life.

"Hayden sadly lost her way and I wish it were different," Lesley Vogel said. "I wish she had stayed true to herself because she had many incredible attributes"
