Gunmen kill police officer, two civilians in Sokoto, burn security vehicles

Suspected Lakurawa militants attacked Girkau community in Sokoto, killing a police officer and two civilians, and burning security vehicles.

Security sources told Vanguard that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday when four operatives drawn from two security locations mounted a  roadblock along the route.
