Good Guy With Gun Steps Up And Saves Lives In Twin Falls Shooting

When a shooter opened fire at an In-N-Out restaurant, an armed citizen took charge and helped drive the gunman off by firing rounds of his own.

Netizens are falsely identifying a man named Amer Mandzic as the suspect in a shooting at an In-N-Out in Twin Falls, Idaho. Police have issued a statement.

The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

An off-duty Idaho State Police trooper and an armed citizen returned fire at Williams during the shooting. Investigators believe those actions forced the gunman away from the crowded area and likely prevented additional casualties.
