German killer nurse probed over dozens more deaths

A nurse already serving a life sentence for murdering 10 patients and attempting to murder 27 others is being investigated in connection with 139 additional suspected cases dating back to 2010.

German prosecutors said Monday they were investigating dozens of suspicious cases which could be connected to a palliative care nurse already jailed for the murder of 10 patients.

The man received a life sentence after being convicted of 10 counts of murder and 27 of attempted murder.
